I Am...

I am participating in a giveaway blog.

I am supposed to tell you what I am going to do for Independence Day.

I am sad to say that I will not be doing anything extravagant, but...

I will be going on along with our family tradition!

Ok, so I am not sad about that! I am pretty happy that we have a tradition to follow, even though it certainly is not anything major!

We go to the parade in a neighboring small town at noon and then we stick around to check out the small, but MommaB happy-making, car show. After our heart's desire has been filled with old car on-looking, we go to Pizza Hut and enjoy having the entire place to ourselves! Now that I have said this, I will probably see all of you there, but its alright! I like you enough to share my restaurant with you! (We never eat out and with 7 kids, we don't want to stress out the rest of the world, even if we could afford to eat out!)

Around 3 or so we will head back home and possibly take a refreshing dip in our pool, before cleaning ourselves up to head back to the same small town that had the parade, for fireworks and maybe even meeting up to visit with some friends!

It may seem simple, but we really enjoy it!

Now, if you want to get in on this giveaway, you should go to

http://www.justafatgirlsblog.blogspot.com/ and MckLinky yourself to her blog!

There’s a great new “linky” service available and I wanted to let you know about it. It’s called MckLinky – www.mcklinky.com. After realizing the need for a new, reliable linky capability, Brent Riggs and MckMama got together to create a free, easy to use linky service for all their blog friends.

3 Days Left!

Only 3 days left until my giveaway will be drawn for!!! Part of this post is from the original, but it explains why there is another giveaway so soon!

Pictured above is the nifty little number that I came up with, out of guilt, because my sister won (completely fair and square, yet I still feel guilty) my last giveaway.

My intent is to get my Etsy store to be viewed more, so as to possibly get more sales. There is a tool bar right on this blog which leads to my Etsy store, if you would like to check it out!

I should add that this crocheted hand bag is made out of cotton yarn. I chose brights, because it is SUMMER! It is lined with a very bright pink material that has all of the colors on the outside of the bag intermingled in it. The handles are crocheted cross ways, rather than long ways, so it will not stretch as far, making is stronger to hold the weight of the contents better. The liner is completely hand stitched and hand stitched into place. I just feel like hand work is stronger than machine work when it comes to something like this. Although, I am human and not perfect, by any means!

Now for the Rules, which are as follows:

1. Post a blog with a pic of this hand bag and a short idea of what the giveaway is for and you will get one entry.

2. Each time one of your followers comes to my blog, posts, and says that they saw the post on your blog, you will get 2 entries.

3. If you follow my blog, or become a follower, and you post about this at all, you will get 2 more entries!

I think there are enough rules now, don't you?!

Since today is Thursday, June 25th, I make this contest one week long, just the same as the last one. I will draw, again with the help of another party, next Thursday at 4p.m.! I will announce the winner by 4p.m. the following day, but probably before, because I can't wait any longer than you can!

Good luck!

Have a great day!

Oh, and THANKS AGAIN!

Not Me Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Well, we can start this Not Me Monday by saying that my husband calling continually on the phone, does NOT drive me nuts! No, not me!!! I am also NOT on the phone with him right now! Subsequently, I did not rip his head of just now for being extremely irritating while is he was NOT ON THE PHONE COMPLAINING ABOUT WHAT I AM OR AM NOT DOING!

Also, this past Friday afternoon, when my kids and I had just finished swimming at a friend's house, I did NOT, repeat, DID NOT, hold a towel all the way around my kids, one at a time, so they could change clothes so as to be in dry clothes for the ride home. My oldest son DID NOT make the situation oh so much worse by harassing the little kid who was changing at the time and telling me that it was so gross for them to change behind a towel. I did NOT happen to make him get out of the pool for being rude and making his brother almost cry! Nope not me. Not ever. Certainly not Friday!

I am not at all grouchy, irritated or frustrated right now and I DO NOT stand behind this statement!

This is Reuben. His mom is Deb at Works in Progress..., which happens to be one of the blogs I follow. He has a few learning hurtles, due to his epilepsy. He would like to know where you live, so he can learn about it. If you go to his blog, he would appreciate it, yes I said HIS blog! He is pretty darned cute, huh?!

This is his blog title Reuben's Computer Diary

I forgot to mention that Reuben is from New Zealand, so he really would be learning something new to know about where we live!

Sheree's Alchemy Giveaway

This weeks drawing from Sheree's Alchemy at http://shereesalchemy.typepad.com/sherees_alchemy/ is this box full of Amy Butler fabrics. I am really excited about the chance to win a box full of fabric! So for those Amy fans out there, here is your chance to get some pieces of her out of print collections, including prints from her first four fabric collections, Gypsy Caravan, Temple Flowers and Ginger Bliss and Charm, which are all from when she was with Free Spirit Fabrics. And yes, again, there are selvedges for those that like to incorporate those into your projects. And then there is another bag pattern from Amy Butler and there are definitely lots of pieces large enough to make the cute little bags!

She will be closing comments on Wednesday, July 1, in the evening and will announce the winner on Thursday.

Hop on over and check it out!

Ok, I Have Another Giveaway!

All of the pictures in this post are of the nifty little number that I came up with, out of guilt, because my sister won (completely fair and square, yet I still feel guilty) my last giveaway.

My intent is to get my Etsy store to be viewed more, so as to possibly get more sales. There is a tool bar right on this blog which leads to my Etsy store, if you would like to check it out!

Of course, both little girls wanted to help, so Meeeeema got to help me show the liner off! That went well, as you see here and will see in another pic below!

I should add that this crocheted hand bag is made out of cotton yarn. I chose brights, because it is SUMMER! It is lined with a very bright pink material that has all of the colors on the outside of the bag intermingled in it. The liner is completely hand stitched and hand stitched into place. I just feel like hand work is stronger than machine work when it comes to something like this. Although, I am human and not perfect, by any means! And, Boog wanted to help me show the outside of the bag. Somehow, her part worked out just a little bit better than Meeeeema's!

Now for the Rules, which are as follows:

1. Post a blog with a pic of this hand bag and a short idea of what the giveaway is for and you will get one entry.

2. Each time one of your followers comes to my blog, posts, and says that they saw the post on your blog, you will get 2 entries.

Winner With Her Prize

I thought it would be fitting to post a pic of the winner with her prize. I like having pics or atleast seeing pics of the item I have made with its new owner. By the way, hop on over to Works in Progress... and have a look at Annie Rose, in New Zealand, in her new hat!!!!! She is adorable! The hat can take no credit for that!

Just for the record, Kylie, tried to refuse the hat, because of the way it would look and when I told her that I am making another one right away, she said ok and that she would not enter the next drawing, but only help me out by posting it. Very noble! Thanks Kylie!

She was none too thrilled about having this pic taken, so I might be in trouble, but what else is new!?!?

Gotta go find something "productive" to do while the kiddies are asleep!

I don't think I mentioned that today is my husband's birthday! We celebrated it all on FD, so there will be no party, but it IS his b-day just the same.

Enough rambling already!

Have a great day!

Well, The Results Are In, And...

Well, maybe I should have made this contest illegal for immediate family members! And, maybe I should have let an adult draw, who does not live in my house. And, maybe, oh I don't know, but I let my 9 year old, Ponch, draw the winning name just now and the winner is...

KYLIE!

Yes, Kylie is my sister. Yes, she had two entries, because a friend from her blog stopped by and said she saw about my drawing on Kylie's blog.

Yes, I feel guilty, because it sounds like it was set up, but if you do know me, you will know that is NOT my style! With all of this said, I am scheming up a new drawing idea. And, I think that I will still allow all readers to enter, because after all, this is for my readers.

I truly hope no one is disappointed!

Sorry to sound so smug! I don't mean to sound like I am not excited for her! I really am!!!

Next drawing coming soon, but what to use for it??? Better get cooking!

Where Did All Of My Followers Go????

I was going to click on a follower and link back to something, but I have not been able to get "followers" to show up! Aaaaaaaaaargh! I am getting rather frustrated!!! Can you tell?

Serious Adult ADHD!

I think that I might lose my mind! I get up around 6:20 each morning with a smile on my face and an attitude that says, "I am ready to face the day!" Maybe not, but it was worth a try!

I wake up ready to bust! Bladder is a little worn after 4 children! I put Meeeeema in the crib, because she has been sleeping with me AGAIN and I run off to make her a bottle, yes bottle, before she wakes up and wakes everyone else too! I have to wash the bottle, because we thought she would have quit this habit long ago and there are only two left. The sound of the running water makes my bladder scream! I run to the bathroom and fix that problem. I wash my hands hurriedly and run back to the bottle and finish making it. I take it in to the bedroom and deposit the bottle in the crib. I go back to the kitchen and start my tea. It is crappy, but splendid tasting, prepackaged tea, so I just put it in the cup and use the hot water from our water machine to fill it. I stir it quickly and head back to my room to put my bra on before anyone spots me! Again, 4 kids...

I sit down in my room with my tea. Destined to spend very little time alone, before the sound of little feet invade my head, I try to figure out what I can do with my time. I decide the computer chair suits me better, so I head out here. I look through all of my favorite sites, as my oldest son gets ready for summer school. (BTW, I have had to nearly set off a bomb to wake him up somewhere in between the bottle and the bra!) I do this relishing every moment alone, but wait, what about all of my crocheting projects that I want to work on? What can I do before someone takes my piece of alone away? I go back to my room and find a project. Right now, I am working on a hat for Tina's charity, http://tinasboyz.blogspot.com/ is where you can find her blog. I could not resist the chance to come in and blog about how much of a frenzy I work myself into in the mornings, so now I am back out here! Crazy, huh? It is almost scary!

I guess, since the old brain is shifting gears again, I am going to go back to my room and crochet the rest of that hat while they are almost all still asleep! And, honestly, I feel like I should be doing my yoga! Yep, another brain blip!

Have a great day!

Today Is The Day!

Today is the day that I draw for the winner of the sassy brown and blue clutch that I made!

But...

You still have time to get in on it, if you so chose. There is a blog about it on here somewhere! Find it and do what needs to be done to enter, before 4p.m. central time and I will enter your name!

Good luck! Thanks again!

I will let you all know who won no later than 4 tomorrow!

Not The Same Old Supper!

This feast for the eyes was a feast for our stomachs just a few short minutes ago! And, it was awwwwesome! Fabulous and all the other words for oh so good! S made supper because I was in the garden pulling the overload of weeds, but he was sure to come outside a few different times to see what he needed to do next. It is a jar of salsa mixed with a can of fiesta corn, a can of black beans, a bar of cream cheese (low fat) and a pound of hamburger (sub. with turkey, if you want) and cheddar cheese. You start by lining the bottom of the pan with cream cheese. Next, you top with the corn, black beans, and salsa. Intermingle the cooked hamburger into the mix and top with cheddar cheese and it is ready to go into the over to warm up. Once the cheese has melted, it should be warmed through and it is ready to eat with tortilla chips! Another option would be on tortilla shells, if you like. Either way, it is fantastic and it is NOT the same old thing for supper! That might have been the best part of the whole meal--the unboringness of it all (yes, I make up words!)!

Have a great day!

Blogapalooza!

Just kidding, but two times in one day is getting to be a rarity for me! Having six kids home all day is making quiet time a thing of that past!

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you all that I am a Lazy Lady who just got out of the shower!

Okay, maybe that really isn't what I wanted to tell you either.

Really, what I wanted to tell you is that I made my first ever Etsy purchase the other day and I happened to get it in the morning mail. I am so excited, because it was an organic soap. I got it in hopes of scrubbing away my troubles! I am happy to report that even if it does not manage to do that, it is phenomenal!

I also got a little free gift of a trial sized solid lotion bar. It is just what it sounds like. Lotion in a little soap style bar and it ROCKS! I put it on after my shower and it did not irritate my freshly shaven legs, those of you who know me well know that I am the epitomy of razor burned skin, as far as most lotions are concerned! Plus, it left me with what I can only think to describe as a sensual tingling feeling all over my skin, as it is mint scented.

I will stop rambling and leave you with the address to this site, in case you want to check it out yourself!

www.TGurleyBathandBody.etsy.com

To be quite honest, I am telling about this because I want to. I am getting nothing in return. The store owner does not even know that I am blogging about this yet, but that is my next stop, so she will soon enough.

Have a great day!

Prayer Philosophy By YarnMomma!

Prayer gives us comfort and peace and our God hears our prayers. We, even myself, have to remember that it is God's timing not my timing.

God hears our Prayers, so please know that no matter what, when you are praying, calling out to God..he takes his arms and wraps them around you.

I swiped this from yarn momma over at My Crazy Life ( http://yarnmommas.blogspot.com )! I like what she had to say and I wanted to share it with you! It speaks volumes to me and I appreciate the point she is making here! I hope you do too!

Buggy Quilt

Here are some pics of one of the quilts I have made. As you can see, it is relatively small. I am not terribly comfortable with making larger quilts, although I have made a twin sized. (I guess I did blog about that!) Anyway, Bucko was helping my show it off and Meeeema was not really having it! She had so much fun trying to tackle the quilt that she threw a big fit when he put it down!

Deb, this is what I was talking about when I said I hand quilt some of the squares. My husband draws and I sew around it. I think it is a lot of fun, but it takes time and Meeeeema does not allow me much of that!
Most of the quilts I have made are grief quilts though. This and the one I made for grandma are pretty much the only "happy" quilts I have made. I usually put pictures on the grief quilts, but I have even made one out of the clothes of the person who was lost. I find that it is very endearing for the family to have a re-make of something they saw their loved one wearing day after day, year after year.

There I go rambling again! Back to reality! UGH!

Hey, Hey Another Giveaway!

I just got wind of another giveaway! I am pretty excited about this, because if I were to happen to win, I would be able to use all of these fabulous scraps to line the new crochet clutches and purses that I have been working on! I can't wait to see if I win! Below is a picture of the goods.

http://shereesalchemy.typepad.com/sherees_alchemy/2009/06/where-my-week-went.html is the address you can go to to get yourself entered into this great giveaway!

3 Days Left, But It Is Not Too Late!

Just three days left until the drawing for this brown and blue clutch! You can still enter the drawing by posting a blog about my drawing, on your blog. Also, if someone comes to my blog and posts a comment saying that they have seen said entry on your blog, I will enter you again! I am not seeking a huge blog following. I am just trying to get my Etsy store out there to a wider range of viewers! Thanks!

My Brother Had An Accident

My brother got into a wreck last night.

Mom was nowhere to be found.

My brother flipped his truck last night.

Mom was not around.

My brother could have died last night.

Mom would have been so stressed.

He did not see it coming.

She would have been so upset.

"Why didn't he slow down?" she'd ask.

"Why was he out at all?" she'd cry.

"Does he want to lose his life like me?" she'd plead.

"God please keep my son safe! He's only just a boy!" she'd scream into the deaf night sky.

"God, I miss him, but please don't let him die! she'd sigh from somewhere up there in the sky.

She had been there all along.

This is something I wrote after getting a call from my 16 year old brother this morning. He was calling from the ER, where he had been taken to be evaluated. He wrecked his truck. He thought a drive in the wee hours of the morning would be a wise idea. Insomnia new drivers do not mix!

I Have A Headache!

I have a HEADACHE!

Have a great day!

This Hand Made Clutch...

To be perfectly honest, I am giving away this cute little hand made clutch that I have just finished, in order to get my "name out there" in the Etsy world! I know that many people do giveaways so that someone will follow their blog and that is where I got the idea! I just know that I am fairly new to the Etsy world and there has to be a better way to get my store in circulation.
With that said, I will enter your name in the race to win this little cutie, no not the one seen below, if you post a blog about my blog giveaway! Send me a link to your blog letting me know you did it. Also, for every person who says they came to my blog, because of what they saw on your blog, I will give you another entry! Does this sound fair? I sure hope so, remember, I am new to all of this giveaway stuff!

Oh, and I will try to keep my little cutie from taking this little cutie over! She is just smitten with so many of the things that I make! She can't help herself!

Oh, and you can find me at MoMmAb7.etsy.com ! Thanks!!!

I will close this in exactly one week, which is Wednesday, June 24th. Let's say around 4p.m. central time and I will announce the winner no later than Thursday at the same time. Deal? Good!

Tell Me How God Has Worked In Your Life This Week

I think this post should be more like an open forum. Today I would like to hear what God has done in your life. It can be Earth moving. It can be tiny! I prefer tiny, because if you are aware of the smallest things God does in your life, you are doing a fabulous job at paying attention! Not that I always do by any means!

I will start...

God has worked in my life this week by allowing my husband and I to take our oldest son on an outing with none of the other kids in tow. This may not sound like much, but we have so many kids and I always say that there is no room for alone time in our world. So, when my 12 year old called my sister an hour and 15 minutes before he and I were set to leave, to see if she would watch the other kids and she happened not to be busy, that was certainly GOD at work! We had a nice time with him. It is always frustrating when we take one of the kids to spend their money, but it was minimally frustrating, which was also God at work! I normally want to wrap my hands around, I mean, put my arm around him and gently lead him to a lower priced item, so he does not ask us for money that we do not have. This time, he figured that part out fairly easily!

Anyway, let me know what is going on inside your world this week. I think taking some to pick God out of our week and really focus on what He has done for us is important and completely worthy of a post!

Not Me Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Well, I can not seem to figure out how to un-underscore this post, so I guess I will start by NOT being the goofball who does not know how to STOP THIS INSANITY! It is already really on my nerves!

I hate to say that I did NOT freak out and almost get worked up into a total frenzy while crossing a walking bridge this weekend, when we took Z out to the lake for his birthday! My sister's fiance was behind me and would love to let the cat out of the bag to how WELL I behaved!

I am NOT secretly praying for rain today, so I won't have to figure out how to split my family up and go to ball games in two separate towns!

I, also, did NOT skip doing laundry for most of one day creating a ridiculous avalanche of dirty piled so high in the baskets that I could barely lift them! I did NOT con my little kids into pushing them, with their young backs, into the laundry room either! No, not me! That would be crossing the line!

So, now you have a go at it! Let's air some dirty laundry, literally if you are in my house!

Happy Birthday!

My boy, this boy, is 12 today! Happy Birthday to him!

He was done fishing for the moment and really ready to tackle a paddle boat!

Our family does not "do" big birthday parties, probably because we have a birthday party full of kids at our dinner table every night! Honestly, we have never done big birthday parties, because they give me serious stress! If momma is crabby, what kind of birthday party are you getting anyway!?! So, we took him fishing. He brought a friend. And, the rest of us tagged along too! He was happy, right up until the time I told him we had to leave! UGH! The drama!!!

Again, Happy Birthday! I love you more than you will ever understand!

Just For Deb!

Ok, so, Deb from Works in Progress wanted to see a picture of my ENTIRE family and here it is! It was very bright and sunny a few weeks ago, when I went to take pictures of another family. Everyone went along to play while I was taking the pics. At the end of the "shoot," the friend I was taking the pics for was gracious enough to take some of us. We are not the best at posing, as you can see, but we appreciate the chance to have a picture of all of us at once!

Proud Little Boy

My boy Bucko caught his first fish today!

We actually went so his oldest brother could enjoy doing something he likes, since we are not big birthday party people and he will be 12 tomorrow.
Little did we know, the little guy would be the only one of our three boys catching a fish!

My World Is Quiet!

The world around me seems so quiet right now. I am not sure of what I should be doing. I am actually afraid to move, because the chain reaction could be unsettling!

I hear Bucko snoring. I hear someone else breathing. I hear that dumb dog barking. I hear birds chirping. I hear my classical music playing from my bedroom. I hear the refrigerator whirring. I really hear nothing else.

I would say, "I am at peace," but since you all know better, I will say nothing. I will just return to my room and resume crocheting. I might need another cup of tea too? (Bad idea? I know, but no one can tell on me, because they are all still sleeping!)

My "Funny Story"

Let me set the stage first, so as to make better sense of what went on in my house this morning. I held Meeeeema in my bed, until she went to sleep last night. S did not come to be until after 11, so it is safe to say she was awake that long, atleast. Once she was asleep, I put her in the crib. For whatever reason, she has not wanted to sleep in there, AT ALL, so I am taking whatever I can get in the way of her sleeping there! Anyway, lucky for me, at 5a.m., she was saying "mom," so I got up and put her in bed with S and I. I was still awake at 5:30 with everything from her elbows in my boob, to her arm in a choke hold around my neck! I was mad and wanted to get up, because I never feel good if I try going back to sleep for a short time. I would rather just get up and grumble my way through the day, to be quite honest. S convinced me to just wait it out and she was asleep before too much longer. Does this mean I was asleep? NO! I finally feel asleep and...

I woke up this morning when S's alarm went off at 6:30. I hopped out of bed, not very enthusiastically, I must admit, but I hopped just the same. I went and woke Z up, because he had his first day of summer school and I did not want him to be late. I was not very happy, because Z was not really interested in waking up and he sleeps in the same room as some of the other kids, so I ended up yelling for him to get up and disturbing several others, but they went right back to sleep. Anyway, I finally succeeded in getting him up and I decided that I was going back to bed, because I did not AT ALL feel like being awake. Before I knew it, I was asleep! YIPPEE! I thought I would just lay there and toss for a while before getting up again, but sleeping is ok too.

8:59 I hear the mailbox door close from the road. I pop up and am in total disbelief that I have slept so long! I also hear Meeeema saying "mommy" like she is just thrilled to see I am awake! I get up, after a few minutes of lying there and go out into the hallway to see if Z made it off to the bus alright. He was not back in bed, so I breathed a sigh of relief. Suddenly, my glance was directed to the living room and I see something that I did not expect at all, Z was asleep sitting up on the love seat, with his tennis shoes on! I could not believe my eyes! (He has been exhausted since yesterday when he got back from a basketball camp.) I hollered at him. He woke up, still dazed and told me he was tired.

I called the school and got it set up for me to take him to the school and not miss any "points" for the day. I quickly started barking orders, so the million of us could ready and get out to the suburban ASAP! Within about 20 minutes, the whole nasty, stinky, dirty, hungry bunch of us was out the door and off to the school!

Whew!

Glad you don't live in my house? Some days, I wish I was you!

It Is Finished!

This is the finished product! WooHoo! I love it! Again, now we will have to wait and see if Annie Rose's mommy likes it!

A Work In Progress for "Works In Progress"

Yes, I think I am clever! Sorry, I just could not help but title my post the way I did! I am making a hat for Annie Rose. We will have to see if she likes it! Oh, or maybe her mommy can decide for her! I guess I should finish it, but I could not resist the play on words!
Ok, now to explain, I am making a hat for a fellow blogger over at "Works In Progress." It is for 8 week old Annie Rose. I made one before, but it was a little smaller than what her momma was looking for, so I upsized it, rather, I made one that would fit! Anyway, that part that is so exciting to me is that "Works In Progress," which you can find on my list of blogs that I follow, is written out of Christchurch New Zealand! How cool is it to think one of my hats might make it all the way to New Zealand! We will have to wait suspensefully and see if her mommy likes the hat and if so, maybe I will be lucky enough to get a picture of her in it!

My Son

My son is almost 12. Actually, he will turn 12 in less than a week.

Yesterday I was driving him to a friend's house, so he could hitch a ride to a 3 day basketball camp at ONU. On the way there, I was thinking about how much I will miss him. I am not really sappy, but I love my kid and I do miss him. Knowing he is gone to SOMEWHERE for 3 days is different than him spending the night at a friend's house for an extended period of time.

Anyway, I grabbed his hand, as I have atleast a million time before, and he jerked it away from me! I told him he is my boy and I will miss him. He said, " Ya, but you don't have to try and hold my hand over it!" It did not hurt my feelings. I gave him a hard time over it more than anything, but I guess you could say it was the beginning of my losing my kid to adulthood. I will certainly mourn the loss of his childhood. It makes me feel sad and sappy just thinking about it.

(You know, when he was a baby, he hated being so far away from me, when we were in the car, so I would always reach my arm back there, no matter how uncomfortable, and hold his hand. I guess my arm won't hurt any more.)

Friday Funnies

We had the Friday Flower post, so how about a Friday Funnies post? Oh, why not?!?

After we dropped Z off for practice this morning, the other kids and I went to spend a minute talking to grandma and the we were off to the park. Before we made it out of grandma's parking lot, Ponch said, "oh, she has a Topsy Turvy?" Bucko quickly replied, "NO! She can't drive a car!"

I was ready to die laughing! Ponch thought her brother had lost her mind! And he could not figure out what was so funny!

Now, on to Boog. This is really not anything new, but I have never shared it before, in blog form. If Boog is doing something that she thinks is particularly interesting she always asks, "Do you wike it?" To this I reply, "Yes Boog, I like it." Then one day she started saying adding an extra question after hearing my reply.

"Do you wike it?" Boog asks.

"Yes Boog, I like it." I say.

"Do you wuv it?" Boog asks.

"Yes Boog, I love it!" (as I laugh to myself at the clever attempt she makes at conversation!) I say.

Not Me Monday, From A Different Point Of View!

If you do not get your fill of "Not Me Monday" on here, check this site out and see what other not me's you can find!

This time my "Not Me Monday" is going to be from Bucko's perspective. He was "not" awful in church yesterday! He was "not" crying almost the entire time! And, when I asked him about it, he said, and I quote, "it was not me! It was dad!" "Now, how on Earth could dad have cried all morning in church and made me think it was you?" I asked. "No! I was crying, but it was dad pinching me!"

Nope, not me!

Hilarious!

I Sold My First Item On Etsy!

I did it!

I did it!

I did it!

I made my first sale on Etsy!!! I am so excited to have made my first sale.

There just might be a funny story that goes along with this and I just might share it.

Ok, you talked me into it!

I came home from a wonderful afternoon of taking photos of a friend of mine and her family. I quickly checked my Etsy and other sites that I regularly follow. When I looked at my site, I noticed that my top item was missing. I looked to see if I had accidentally deactivated it. Nope! Well then, where could it be? Right about then my sister pipes up and says, "Could it be in your sold items?" I was quick to retort! "No!" I said! I don't sell anything! I looked at the sold items and saw a 1 in the field! I could not believe my eyes! I did it! I did it! I did it! I had posted a picture of a dandelion early that morning and it was sold! It was a really cool pic though. I think I might put the pic of it up, now that I am going on and on about it!

Anyway, thanks for listening! I am still excited!
